About Me
A Few Words…
I’m Amanda Cram, owner of Sunrise Accounting Solutions. I have a BS in Finance and a Masters in Accounting (MAcc) from Utah State University. Even back then, I had dreams of being a small business owner. A flower shop was my first choice. I figured if I knew enough about business, I could have any kind of business I wanted. Right after I graduated, I worked as an accountant at a university for a couple years. I did bookkeeping on the side, too.
I also wanted to serve others and help them reach their goals. Well, I’ve spent the last 13 years doing that… as a wife and mother! I have 5 wonderful children. The last one was a set of twins. I laughed with disbelief for a couple days after I found out. God has a way of helping you grow in ways you don’t know you need. Let me tell you – managing a family has taught me how to solve problems and get stuff done. It’s also taught me compassion and patience.
Last year I opened for business – eager to reach some of my personal goals. My goal to serve and help is the same as it was years ago – but a bit different, too. Another reason I started was to give back. What’s that old saying? You can’t give from an empty cupboard.
